Some chandeliers feature both clear and colored crystal for a sophisticated new take on an old classic. The second way to use a colored chandelier in your home is with colored bulbs.

If you don't want something as intricate as colored crystal but also don't want colored bulbs, you can add a splash of color to any candelabra style chandelier with lamp shades. This requires measuring and finding out how much weight the ceiling area can hold. Traditional chandeliers require professional installation, while plug in and miniature styles can usually be done on your own.
